Policies

What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.

Booking and deposits

Book online or by phone. A card holds your time, and 90-minute sessions take a deposit that goes toward the session.

Canceling and running late

Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a session. If you are ill, tell us and we will move it. If you arrive late, the session ends on time so the next client is not kept waiting.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a session without telling us, the held time is charged as set out when you booked. Call the studio if something went wrong and we will talk it through.

Children and companions

Massage here is for adults. Please come alone, or bring an adult who can wait in the front room. Children cannot be in the treatment rooms.

Patch tests and allergies

We use unscented oil unless you ask for scent, and we can tell you every ingredient. Tell us about a nut or fragrance allergy when you book.

Redos and refunds

If a session was not right, tell us within a week and we will look at it with you.

Tipping

Tipping is welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay or when you book.

Undressing and draping

You are covered by a sheet the whole time. Only the part being worked on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on. Undress to the point where you are comfortable.

Pressure, consent and stopping

Before we start we ask about pressure and any area to leave alone. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer. You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, for any reason, and we stop right away.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant, or have had recent surgery or an injury, ask your doctor or midwife first. We do not diagnose, and massage does not replace their care.
